"A hidden gem! This old school ice cream bar and grill is full of delicious treats. My first pick, the snowball, was unavailable but I got a flurry instead. The ice cream base is reminiscent of ice cream cake - very creamy and sweet. I also got some fries to dip into it, and they were perfectly crisp, salty, and crunchy. My guest ordered a sundae which was absolutely enormous and delicious. Would recommend if you're in the area."

"Antol’s after all these years is still the best chicken sandwich and shoestring fries! It will transport you right back in time! Amazing job to the owners, keep up the good work and don’t ever change the chicken sandwiches. And I don’t even need to tell you how awesome the ice cream is!"

"Single Cheeseburger dressed like a double, delicious! It has a special sauce. I tried the cheese curds for the first time. Yummm! Desert was a medium green apple flavor burst with peanut butter dip top in a cup. Fast service, hot food was hot!"

"I live in Raleigh, North Carolina, but grew up in Elk Lake Pennsylvania. I’ve been down south now more than I have been up north (don’t hold that against me ) I used to go here when I was a kid and as a teenager in the 80’s. I watched the baseball games across from it, when they had baseball games back in the day. They have the BEST soft serve ice cream. The chocolate and vanilla twist is my favorite! Second favorite is the raspberry vanilla twist. You don’t know what you miss until it’s gone or you live too far away to get the ice cream. Don’t ever let this place disappear. It’s an icon of South Montrose and the surrounding communities. Miss you Antol’s!"

"A pleasant treasure that I have overlooked over the years on Route 29 in South Montrose. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and size of the Texas burgers, at a very reasonable price. I even got a tasty funnel cake to top it off."
